One evening in the fall

You’re the one who caught me

Clearly through it all

I’ve tried hard to remind you

Of everything we’ve shared

But you don’t remember anything

And it kinda makes me scared that

I could write a song about how I feel

But it wouldn’t change anything at all

Can’t stop myself from thinking

Of what I should have said

And if I said those same things

Just how would you respond

Would it make a difference to you

Or not

I heard it from a friend
